After an intense selection and review process from a pool of highly qualified applicants, we are excited to congratulate and welcome UF students Lindsey Avila & Valerie Crum as our 2013 DC Gator Scholarship winners! We are thrilled to award each of them with a $2,000 scholarship to help offset the cost of their summer internship in the Capital Region.

Please join me in welcoming all UF Interns as they further their education this summer in our Nation’s Capital. Go Gators!!

Three University of Florida football players were named to Phil Steele’s 2013 Preseason All-American Teams, released on Wednesday, June 5. Junior punter Kyle Christy was named a first team All-American, senior defensive lineman Dominique Easley was honored on the third team, and junior cornerback Loucheiz Purifoy garnered fourth team accolades.
